Woman Bullied Her Whole Life, Gets Her Wish Fulfilled After The Jeremy Kyle Show Turned Angel For Her!

Bullying is a serious issue that needs to be addressed on a personal, as well as a public level. It is referred to as an unwanted, aggressive behavior among the school aged children or elders and involves a real or perceived power imbalance. If such behavior is repeated over time, both parties, the bully and the bullied, may face some serious and long lasting psychological issues. That is exactly what happened with a British woman, Gemma Swift, who is bearing the consequences of her difficult childhood even after all these years.
At a tender age of 6, Gemma was involved in an unfortunate incident where she accidentally smashed her mouth on a lamppost.
She experienced some serious injuries from the incident and severely damaged her front teeth. Her problems further escalated when her parents weren’t able to afford the treatment and Gemma’s teeth kept growing abnormally. They were protruding prominently from her mouth. All this left a huge impact on Swift, to which she grew extremely self-conscious and lost her confidence.
If all this wasn’t enough, even her friends didn’t stand by her in the time of need.
She was relentlessly bullied in school for years. Gemma finally decided to resort to home schooling at the age of 15 when she couldn’t stand the bullying anymore, and it was the only option left. These things altogether left a huge impression on her youth. Today, as an adult when she looks back at her childhood, all these memories come back to haunt her. She wishes to erase all of them off of her memory and also admits that it was extremely difficult fighting everyone and everything while she was at a tiff with her own self as well.
Kyle’s call for help gone wrong!
In August 2016, she spoke to a talk show host Jeremy Kyle about being bullied for her teeth all her life. But her TV appearance further led to even more online harassment. She also shared some intimate details about her difficult journey and the emotional trauma she had experienced because of her dental troubles. Horribly, her appearance on the show prompted many to begin bullying her about teeth on her social media accounts.
As a result of the online harassment, Gemma fell into depression.
The producers of the show felt so terrible about the way things had turned out for her after the show, that they decided to make it up to her somehow. So, they came up with an idea and decided to help her get a complete dental transformation. She was taken to see a dentist who would help her get a perfect smile that she had been dreaming of all her life. But some cowards were still not done bullying. Even after her makeover, they were still picking on her but Gemma stood strong; she was done listening to such losers and finally celebrating her natural self.
